centre of the village by the old church. Recently converted from an
old farm building, with all the charm of old stones and beams.

The village of Saint-Vitte is attractively situated on a hill-top
overlooking the Cher Valley. It is ideally situated as a starting
point to visit a great variety of interesting places in the region
including the châteaux of « La Route Jacques
Cœur ». The Forest of Tronçais is near at hand
(swimming & sailing).The Auvergne, with its Volcano Park and Ski
Resorts is 1½ hrs by car. The Gîte is 11 kms from the A71
autoroute (exit 9) and 7 kms from the nearest railway-station at
Vallon-en Sully (direct trains to Paris/Montluçon).
